Professional Boundaries
Salt Lake Deep Tissue Massage is a strictly therapeutic, non-sexual practice.
- Sexual requests, comments, gestures, or behavior of any kind are prohibited. This includes requests for “extras,” sexual jokes or innuendo, inappropriate exposure, and touching the therapist.
- Any such request or behavior ends the session immediately. The full session fee is charged, and no refund is given.
- Incidents may be reported to law enforcement, and the client will not be allowed to book again.
- Genital areas, and the breast area for female clients, are never massaged. Draping is always used.
- Clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be treated, and the full session fee will be charged.
- Timi reserves the right to refuse or end any session at her professional discretion if she feels unsafe or the session is not therapeutic.
These boundaries protect both clients and the therapist, and they reflect the professional standards of the massage therapy profession in Utah.
